About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for a range of departments, performing spending variance analyses, reviewing month-end results for accuracy, meeting corporate reporting deadlines and addressing ad-hoc requests.  This individual will work with a large number of customers with different management levels. 

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate management closing and reporting process on a monthly & quarterly basis.
  • Analyses of operating results for functional management, actual vs. plan.
  • Business partnership support to functional management.
  • Analysis and submission of functional budgets.
  • Understanding and articulation of key business drivers for current and future periods.
  • Provide and communicate meaningful business results to different audiences

 

What we're looking for: 
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years of relevant FP&A experience
  • MS Excel and PowerPoint required, financial tools (Hyperion (Oracle), SAP) preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong financial analysis, communication, organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities/execute in a high-paced organization
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adhere to tight deadlines
  • Must have a process improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Team oriented 

 

The anticipated annualized base pay range this full-time position working at this location will be from $70,700 - $134,300, plus variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target2 (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements) and the value of core and optional employee benefits being offered at Boston Scientific (BSC), which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. BSC considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may be otherwise adjusted if the position is filled outside of the intended geographic location.
