 Buyer/ Planner

 

The buyer/planner will be responsible for the execution of the operational procurement tasks, as well as commercial aspects in from of the sub-contractor, by ensuring an adequate supply of materials through multiple interfaces with the Boston subcontractors and the Boston internal units, such as the R&D, engineering, production, Quality, strategic procurement team, and others. The Turn-key account buyer main operational day-to-day activities will include suppliers forecasting and build plan management, PO issuance, DD, OTD monitoring, price list monitoring, PPV approvals, suppliers QBR, and more.

 

 

Main Duties

  • Lead the day-to-day activities related to suppliers forecast and build plan fulfillment monitoring.
  • Overall responsibility for Subcontractor’s/vendors OTD to comply with the company demands.
  • Lead all issues and processes to final resolution:
    • Production scheduling and weekly work plan
    • Product quality and engineering issues
    • Implementing new products and procedures
    • Quarterly business reviews
    • ECO implementations
    • RTV & RMA
    • Forecast and spare parts
    • Focal point for all subcontractor’s issues
    • MRP demands and po's activities.
  • Capacity increases related activity
  • Price list management & monitoring
  • OBS & Critical parts tracking
  • Inventory counts at vendors once a quarter.
  • BP fulfillment according production plan and inventory status.

 

Required Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant degrees.
  • 1-3 years in production planning, operational management in subcontractor company or medical companies (Advantage), or At least 3 years' experience preforming a matrix role in a complex and dynamic environment, as part of a large organization
  • Strong leadership ability and proven experience in Matrix environment.
  • Self-starter & versatile
  • Assertiveness and multi-tasking, ability to perform under pressure.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills both in Hebrew and English
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PPT and SAP (Advantage)
  • Strong and comprehensive background in Supply Chain – global Sourcing, procurement, and Logistics.
