Purpose Statement

Boston Scientific is seeking a Business Unit Director for the Northern Cluster to lead the growth and success of our Endoscopy division across the UK/Ireland, France, and Nordics. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a passionate team to shape the future of minimally invasive care, driving advancements in gastrointestinal, pulmonary, and bariatrics treatments.

This leadership position offers the opportunity to combine strategic vision, people-first leadership, and innovation to make a tangible difference in patients’ lives. With responsibility for a team of 70+ professionals, you’ll report directly to the VP of Endoscopy EMEA and oversee P&L for the division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Manage the P&L of the division, developing and executing marketing and sales strategies to drive growth and innovation in the region.
  • Inspiring People Leadership: Cultivate an empowering and supportive environment, hiring top talent, and encouraging career development. Mentor your team and champion diversity and inclusion at all levels.
  • Market and Business Development: Shape the future of our Endoscopy division by promoting market growth and driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Significant leadership experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the medical devices industry.
  • A proven track record of developing high-performing, diverse teams and inspiring a positive culture.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and market data.
  • Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
