Location: Paris, France (hybrid workmode)
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience

You’re an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations across multiple countries. Fluent in both French and English (and ideally a third European language), you’re passionate about creating a fair, safe, and inclusive workplace. You’re energized by partnering with employees and leaders to navigate complex situations, from sensitive investigations to performance and conduct matters.

At Boston Scientific, we are looking for a Senior Employee Relations Representative (EMEA) to play a pivotal role in supporting our employees across the region. This is your chance to bring your expertise to a global healthcare leader while helping shape the employee experience for thousands of colleagues.

Your role:

As our Senior Employee Relations Representative, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to employees, managers, and HR partners across EMEA. You’ll lead confidential investigations, provide expert guidance on policy matters, and help resolve complex employee relations cases. From handling conduct and discrimination investigations to consulting on performance management, accommodations, and sensitive situations—you’ll ensure a fair and consistent approach that aligns with Boston Scientific policies and local labor laws.

This role covers all parts of the organization in EMEA, including Commercial Divisions, Global Operations, Global Supply Chain, and Corporate Functions.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage complex, cross-border employee relations investigations (e.g., conduct, discrimination, harassment, retaliation)

  • Develop investigation strategies, conduct thorough fact-finding, assess evidence, and make well-founded recommendations

  • Partner closely with Legal, HR Business Partners, and People Services on escalated employee matters

  • Act as a subject matter expert on company policy educating and influencing stakeholders

  • Analyze employee relations data to identify trends and support proactive solutions

  • Prepare clear and comprehensive investigation reports for leadership and key stakeholders

  • Represent the organization in external forums if cases escalate to mediation or tribunal level

  • Support our relationship with employee representative bodies (e.g., works councils)

  • Contribute to refining HR policies and the global employee relations framework

What we are looking for:

You bring strong experience in employee relations and investigations across multiple EMEA countries, with a natural ability to balance risk, business needs, and employee fairness.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, law, business, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ progressive HR experience with a clear focus on employee relations, labor regulations, performance management, and compliance

  • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience leading complex, multi-country internal investigations

  • Fluent in French and English (Spanish, Italian, or German fluency is a plus)

You’re someone we can count on when it comes to communicating with impact and clarity. You know how to influence and engage multiple stakeholders and decision-makers at different levels of the organization. You bring people together and connect the dots between employee needs, process improvements, and business goals. With a strong analytical mindset, you’re able to spot trends, identify root causes, and provide actionable, data-driven insights. And of course, though it almost goes without saying, you operate with the highest level of confidentiality and attention to detail.

Why join us?

This is a high-impact role where your work will directly shape the employee experience for Boston Scientific teams across the EMEA region. You’ll join a collaborative and values-driven HR organization, with strong ties to legal, business, and leadership teams. As we continue to evolve our global employee relations approach, you’ll have the chance to contribute ideas, influence change, and grow your career within an international, mission-led company.

If you’re ready to bring your expertise in employee relations to a role where you can truly make a difference, we’d love to hear from you. A final round that may include case-based discussions or a conversation with senior leadership.
