Senior Product Manager, Vascular Preparation Technologies – EMEA
Location: Remote (Ideally near EMEA Hub)
About the role:
At Boston Scientific, we advance science for life by providing innovative technologies that improve patient outcomes around the world. As a key member of the Peripheral Interventions (PI) Vascular EMEA team, the Senior Product Manager, Vascular Preparation Technologies will lead strategic and operational marketing efforts for the Modern Endovascular Interventions (Modern EVI) franchise across the region.
This individual will have ownership of the Preparation Technologies portfolio, including Jetstream Atherectomy, PTA Balloons, and the upcoming launch of next-generation Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) technology. From market development and product training to cross-functional collaboration and launch execution, this role is instrumental in driving portfolio growth and innovation across diverse EMEA markets.

Your responsibilities will include:
Market development
● Develop and execute market strategies that align with overall franchise objectives across EMEA.
● Identify and respond to evolving clinical and competitive trends to inform product positioning.
● Lead market development and drive adoption of IVL technology through educational campaigns and support for reimbursement pathways.
Product and market management
● Deliver targeted product training to local sales teams and support physician education initiatives.
● Develop downstream sales tools and marketing collateral to enable field execution.
● Lead IVL launch planning and execution, including messaging, launch packages, and roll-out strategy.
● Provide ongoing field support and participate in customer events and sales meetings.
Product development
● Represent the EMEA voice in global product core teams and innovation forums.
● Deliver regional insights and unmet needs to Global Marketing for product development prioritization.
● Conduct product evaluations and gather competitive intelligence to inform strategy.
Stakeholder engagement
● Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physician champions, and regional influencers.
● Coordinate symposiums and educational initiatives to elevate clinical awareness and brand preference.
● Support commercial teams with timely insights, alignment, and responsiveness.
Planning and analysis
● Manage product forecasts and support inventory planning in collaboration with Supply Chain.
● Develop operational launch plans and analyze performance post-launch.
● Track marketing metrics, monitor competitive activity, and support strategic business planning.
● Ensure budget discipline across promotional, advertising, and travel categories.
Internal collaboration
● Navigate a matrixed environment to lead cross-functional execution across Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and International Marketing teams.
● Influence without authority to align stakeholders and accelerate decision-making across diverse geographies.
Quality and compliance
● Promote awareness of and compliance with quality and regulatory commitments.
● Facilitate the handling of customer feedback and ensure complaints are processed appropriately.
● Champion quality standards during campaigns and customer interactions.
What are we looking for?
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
● Minimum of 7 years' experience in medical device sales or marketing.
● Proven track record in leading product launches and commercialization initiatives.
● Experience working in vascular or interventional cardiology markets.
● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
● Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% across the EMEA region.
Preferred qualifications:
● MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
● Experience working across multiple EMEA markets.
● Familiarity with IVL, atherectomy, or PTA balloon technologies.
● Demonstrated success in matrixed organizations and international environments.
