Purpose: As part of the EMEA Field Inventory Management team, the Field Inventory Specialist France will be responsible for optimizing hospital consigned and sales rep assigned inventories in France to achieve agreed service levels at the lowest operational cost.

Primary responsibilities will include data analysis, driving optimization programs with local business leads and customers, on-site customer visits, leveraging existing global tools and data sources.

 

Key responsibilities:

-Analyze field inventory landscape – identify priorities and opportunities for optimal balance between required service and cost (expiry scrap, inventory levels)
-Build relationship with divisional business unit managers, hospital staff and other functional stakeholders to scope inventory programs, agree on inventory policies/standards and execution tactics
-Set up effective governance structure to maintain momentum
-Support and execute on-site inventory management activities for selected customers, including inventory discrepancy resolution and purchase order collection
-Support and guide new product launches and transitions
-Provide monthly reporting commentary – on the shelf availability, expiry scrap, days inventory on hand, optimization programs
-Work with Business Unit and Customer Care managers to set annual targets – expiry scrap and inventory optimization programs
-Support roll-out and adoption of existing and new field inventory management tools

 

Required qualifications:

-Minimum Bachelor degree in relevant field or equivalent thru experience
-At least 3 years of experience in supply chain environment or similar role
-Excellent analytical and PC applications skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, other DB and reporting tools)
-Demonstrated ability to effectively work with others to include communication, presentation, analysis, negotiation etc.

-Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
-Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes and tools
-Fluent in French (native) and English

 

Desired qualifications:

-Experience working in healthcare / medical device sector
-APICS certification or equivalent
-Project management skills
-Experience utilizing SAP or other ERP systems, Sales Force
-Experience working in an international organization
