Specialist Senior, Health Economics Market Access - Kazakhstan

Responsibilities:

• Assess reimbursement opportunities and challenges facing the business’ emerging technologies and commercially marketed products and communicate business impact to senior management
• Identification of key health economics needs for Company’s platform products, working with global health economics and outcomes research colleagues to determine actions required;
• Development and support HEMA strategies for BSC divisions to secure optimal reimbursement (coding/coverage/payment) for Company’s products and procedures;
• Search for opportunities to use BSC products in current reimbursement conditions (development of economic models, calculators for internal/external customers; economic substantiations etc.)
• Shape reimbursement system in order to provide patients with the most innovative technologies (interactions with clinical/reimbursement stakeholders, support HTA submissions with data, calculations etc.)
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams in terms of development and communication of economic value messages to support product’s reimbursement;
• Monitoring of governmental policies that define reimbursement conditions, trends and impact reimbursement of BSC products;
• Build relationships and collaborate with MoH, clinical and reimbursement KOLs, hospitals and third-party decision makers in the key markets
• Customization of global health economics models and work with local data to support commercial strategy and business cases for new procedures and devices;
• Preparation of reports based on business needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelors pharmaceutical or medical Degree, masters degree in Health Economics or equivalent will be an asset;
• Experience in healthcare industry (pharmaceutical or medical device); experience in health economics will be an asset
• Understanding of the National Healthcare Systems and how it is structured, funded and reimbursed;
• Solid understanding of Kazakhstan Healthcare market dynamics and trends;
• Ability to continuous self-development by nurturing skills and knowledge, being adaptable to new challenges/demands and responding to them in a flexible and positive way;
• Good analytical skills and ability to evaluate, understand and interpret data from both internal and external perspective;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to develop relationships at all levels in an organization;
• Generating new ideas and approaches by leveraging knowledge, best practices and continuous improvement;
• Accuracy, stress resistance, high self-motivation, knowledge of business etiquette;
• PC advanced user MS Office (Excel, Power Point);
• English: upper-intermediate level or higher.
