About the role:

The Customer Implementation Specialist leads the tactical efforts of a world-class Pathology implementation team centered on exceeding customer expectations. Specifically, the CES is responsible for supporting the transition, integration, and “go-live” process for new pathology customers. The CES works directly with the customer managing all aspects of the customer onboarding process, coordinating resources as needed to support a successful engagement.  Our mission is to exceed expectations and, in doing so, grow our business. 

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Work onsite and remotely in collaboration with customers, Sales, Pathology IT, Lab, and other associated business partners to successfully onboard new Pathology customers
  • Train new Pathology customers on Boston Scientific pathology procedures and processes to ensure a successful transition and enduring customer relationship
  • Lead projects to transition customers from one pathology model to another, particularly the TC-PC model
  • Travel 50%-70% of the time to work onsite with customers
  • Lead efforts to adapt or create customer engagement and onboarding tools as needed
  • Develop a strong partnership with the sales team to identify opportunities for enhanced customer service and increased business
  • Conduct special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Meet and exceed departmental expectations of quality and productivity

 

What we’re looking for:

Minimal qualifications:

  • Successful track record of exceptional customer service both internally and externally
  • 3+ years’ experience including project management and customer facing roles
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Pro-active and customer-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to prioritize workflow enabling simultaneous management of multiple tasks
  • Ability to travel 50-70% of the time
  • Ability to build and maintain effective, win-win relationships at multiple levels within the organization
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 4 hours

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extensive experience working directly with customers to transition from one pathology model to another, including Global, TC-PC, and Client Bill models
  • Effective business writing skills for creating reports to be shared and presented internally and with customers
  • Technical experience with business software tools such as a CRM system, and MS Office Products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
