About the role: 


This role has 3 departments reporting directly into them:


Manufaturing Engineering: Strategic Manager of high volume Kitting Operations, leading a group of diverse individuals across production support and projects. Devotes a significant portion of time to managerial, leadership, and employee development

Project Management: Manages the development and implementation process of company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.  Manages a team of project managers that leads site & global projects that impact functions and divisions.

Facilities Management: Manage the Site Master Planning process, the space use of the physical plants and mange a team of facility maintenance technicians.


Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Provides guidance and training to staff, assists subordinates in attaining career goals, motivates individuals to achieve results, and recruits and maintains a high quality staff.
  • Manages Operations functional deliverables and champions technical excellence for product development.
  • Participates in and influences Technology Development Process (TDP) and Product Development Process (PDP) project development activities.
  • Develops and executes departmental budgets.  Leads or represents function in periodic business metric reviews.
  • Determines appropriate staff levels, schedules and resources.  Works with other managers to understand priorities and plans resources and time allocation accordingly.
  • Establishes and influences cross-functional relationships.
  • Initiates cross-functional partnerships to identify and resolve production/engineering issues.
  • Provide Project Management Leadership so we can prioritize and drive execution of multiple complex department projects.
  • Sponsors and supports Operations Value Improvement Process (VIP) or Strategic Activity Review (STAR) projects.
  • Develops departmental objectives and metrics and drives execution of them.


What we're looking for in you:
Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent Technology field
  • 10+ years of engineering / related work experience
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience


Preferred qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering
