About the Role:

Boston Scientific’s Provider Enrollment /File Maintenance Coordinator will join the contracts team to facilitate completion of credentialing and re-credentialing and state licensure activities for lab and staff pathologist licensing.  Coordinator will also Maintain and update system files containing practice setup data, payor fee schedules, payor rules and portals.

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Initiate and maintain currency of licensures.
  • Assist credentialing and re-credentialing in compliance with NCQA and HIPAA standards.
  • Maintain credentialing files and documents for physicians.
  • Work with others to resolve issues with health plans, providers, and billing offices.
  • Ensure enrollment with ERA’s and payer portals.
  • Maintain and update Billing system profiles and payor fee schedules.
  • Maintain files and database to ensure documents and information are current and meet all regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • First level contact to assist in trouble.
  • First level contact to assist in trouble shooting basic credentialing & enrollment issues.
  • Special Accounts Receivable projects as needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-2 years of credentialing and/or provider relations, and Revenue cycle experience in the healthcare industry from the physician or insurance side of the credentialing process.
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in credentialing field or related healthcare field.
  • General computer knowledge, competent in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.)
  • Experience in working with providers and health plans.
  • Experience working with state medical licensing boards.
  • Experience working within a laboratory work environment.
  • Familiar with the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
  • Well-organized.
  • Detail oriented.
