About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced and proactive business leader to serve as the Operations Business Functional Lead for our SAP S/4HANA and EWM implementation. This role is essential to ensuring the successful integration of new systems into our distribution operations. Acting as the principal business representative for assigned functions, you will translate operational needs into system requirements, lead validation efforts, and support testing, deployment, and adoption across multiple teams. This is a highly collaborative position that bridges business operations, IT, and program teams to deliver enterprise-wide transformation.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
This position is on-site at our Johns Creek, GA facility. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

 

Your responsibilities will include:
● Champion program objectives by aligning business operations with SAP S/4HANA and EWM implementation activities.
● Lead requirements gathering, business process definition, and design validation sessions.
● Engage subject matter experts (SMEs) and Super Users during requirements, testing, and deployment phases.
● Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to project and program teams.
● Support user adoption and change management initiatives to ensure operational readiness.
● Define, document, and validate functional requirements and end-to-end process flows.
● Participate in system configuration reviews and validate proposed solutions against business needs.
● Lead and coordinate functional and integration testing to ensure end-to-end process integrity.
● Monitor and resolve system defects, escalating cross-functional issues as necessary.
● Facilitate data validation, cutover readiness, and go-live support for a smooth system launch.
● Oversee post go-live stabilization (hypercare), tracking outstanding issues and driving resolution.
● Provide continuous feedback to inform process and system improvements.
● Collaborate across IT, operations, and program leadership to ensure a seamless transition to steady-state.

 

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree required.
● Minimum of 7 years' experience in distribution and logistics.
● Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional business initiatives.
● Hands-on experience with ERP and WMS implementations, preferably with SAP S/4HANA and/or Manhattan.
● Strong business process knowledge and ability to translate operational requirements into system solutions.
● Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred qualifications:
● Experience supporting enterprise-scale system implementations across global organizations.
● Familiarity with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) configuration and integration.
● Proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments with tight timelines.
● Experience supporting change management, training, or organizational readiness initiatives.
● Strong documentation skills, including process mapping and requirements traceability.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
