About the role:
The Global Business Services (GBS) team is seeking a General Ledger Maintenance Analyst II to join the Global Process Systems and Analytics team. Responsibilities include supporting global financial operations through the maintenance of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss master data in SAP ECC, S4 HANA, and Trintech Cadency systems. This role collaborates closely with business users and cross-functional teams to resolve user requests, drive process enhancements, and support the implementation of new systems and technologies. The position ensures adherence to compliance standards, contributes to the development and maintenance of process documentation, and plays an active role in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to Global Business Services (GBS) and Financial departments worldwide for the maintenance of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss master data in SAP ECC, S4 HANA, and Trintech Cadency systems.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and all relevant compliance standards.
- Develop, update, and maintain Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support process consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with the S4 HANA implementation team, including participation in system testing and process updates.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, contributing to the development of efficient and effective workflows.
- Support the testing and implementation of business applications as required.
- Crosstrain in Trintech Cadency processes, including Administration activities.
- Crosstrain other processes, as needed.
- Prepare and present reports and status updates to management, ensuring clear communication of progress and issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting.
- 0-2 years’ relevant experience.
- Desired Knowledge:
SAP ECC and/or S4 HANA experience a plus.
Trintech Cadency, Blackline, or similar system experience a plus.
- Must have customer relationship skills with strong service orientation.
- English Level desired: B2+.
- Hands on approach with ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
- Holds self-accountable to a performance metric culture building performance excellence.
- Analytic thinking and high attention to details.
- Active interest in opportunities to improve the efficiency of work.
- Good self-starter, problem solver, and can work under pressure.
- Proficient working with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Macro experience a plus.
- Experience working in a shared service environment is a plus.
