About the role: 

Boston Scientific is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Global Supply Chain Data Product team within the IT Global Operations Data & Analytics organization. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to enterprise-wide data initiatives that drive smarter, faster decision-making across our supply chain.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable data pipelines that power analytics and reporting for supply chain operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate multiple source systems into our Unified Data Platform (UDP), leveraging modern cloud technologies and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient end-to-end data pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, and dbt.
• Integrate diverse data sources into AWS/Snowflake environments to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all pipeline processes.
• Participate in Agile sprint cycles, including story grooming, estimation, and status tracking using Jira.
• Contribute to the evolution of data engineering standards, best practices, and methodologies within the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (preferably AWS and Snowflake).
• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira.
• Advance English level
• Submit resume in English

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work experience in a data product team
• Familiarity with dbt and modern data transformation workflows.
• Previous work experience in a regulated industry
