About the role:

The Boston Scientific Legal-IT team is looking for a Legal-IT Product Manager to manage software tools related to contracts management. In this key IT role, the Product Manager will own maintaining contracts related applications, integrations and strategy. They will lead a global team of people that provides technical support as well as working with vendor resources. They will collaborate with the Product Owner from various business teams including Legal, and stakeholders across regions and cross functional teams, to deliver updates and changes that drive business value.  The preferred candidate is an individual with strong analytical and critical thinking, and business partnership skills. The ideal candidate works best within a team environment, is a self-starter, detailed oriented, is capable of handling multiple projects, and is committed to quickly delivering high-quality services and solutions within deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the IT point of contact for business
• Help develop and execute contracts technology roadmaps and strategy with the Product Owner. Supports Product Owner with Internal Resource Planning for Product Team (management of vendor contracts, e.g. temporary/permanent resources).
• Hold team meetings (Standup, IPM – Iteration Planning Meeting, Retro, weekly stakeholder demo) and help plan and facilitate stakeholder and end-user meetings/interviews.
• System Management and Maintenance: Ensure systems are functioning correctly and efficiently. This includes regular updates, troubleshooting, and maintenance to keep the systems running smoothly. Adhere to SLAs. Provide Product governance.
• Project Management: Lead technology in legal projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, enhancements and implementations. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing these projects to ensure they are completed on time.
• Process Improvement: Continuously motivate the team to work more efficiently. Incorporate Agile, Lean, and User Centered Design methodologies to execute on product development, implementation, and operations. Establish and track measurable objectives for the team
• Manage multiple vendor relationships where vendors execute business critical operations
• Be flexible with availability to manage system issues and coordinate with various cross functional teams
• Provide leadership in IT deliverables according to Boston Scientific Global Systems Methodology; Support problem solving and resolution to roadblocks.
• Influence leaders and teams to deliver on plans
• Provide updates to management through frequent communications.

Minimum Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or relevant experience
• Minimum 8 plus years of experience in IT management
• Exposure/Familiarity to SaaS solutions as well as internally developed software applications
• The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be able to work well in a complex, highly matrixed worldwide organization and be able to simplify that matrix for reporting and analytical purposes
• Proficiency in system integration, data management, and automation tools
• Scrum Master certification or relevant experience, knowledge of SDLC
• Strong MSOffice skills required
• Prior experience as a business analyst
• Attention to detail & data accuracy
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and act in a consultative role
• Continuous improvement mindset

• MBA or masters
