About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical CAD (MCAD) Administrator with a strong background in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM Professional software(s) and associated data management processes. This role will be responsible for Global Support of MCAD Engineering Applications.   Technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills will play a crucial role within this position. 

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide Global support of MCAD systems and software for over 2000 users.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for MCAD-related issues.
• Collaborate and maintain documentation for MCAD SOP’s and WI’s.
• Create and maintain Knowledge Share Documentation and user guides for administrators and end users.
• Collaborate with design teams to optimize MCAD workflows and processes.
• Assist in management of Global SharePoint site.
• Assist in the development and implementation of MCAD training programs.
• Provide MCAD support for Acquisitions when requested.
• Domestic and International travel may be required (5-10% max.)

Required Qualifications:

• Required: 5+ years’ experience of 3D MCAD software
• (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Catia, Inventor, SolidEdge, OnShape).

• Proven experience as a CAD Administrator or similar role.
• Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)

• Strong technical proficiency in CAD Data management, with a deep understanding of quality CAD Data practices.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to develop solutions for complex MCAD/ECAD data remediation challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to the target audience.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Degree in Engineering or IT related field.
• English Level required C1+
