About the role:
The Product Complaint Senior Supervisor lead and support the Costa Rica Electrophysiology Complaint Management Center (CMC) team, overseeing complaint management activities across a variety of product types. The role is accountable for ensuring high‑quality complaint handling, regulatory reporting, and operational performance, while maintaining full compliance with the Quality System and a strong commitment to patient safety and product quality. The position also serves as a key liaison across cross‑functional teams within the post‑market quality organization.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate complaint management operations, ensuring effective oversight of operational metrics, work‑in‑progress (WIP), regulatory reporting, complaint record quality, procedures, and employee training.
- Supervise and develop a team of product complaint analysts, providing direction, performance management, and coaching to support professional growth and achievement of departmental objectives.
- Review and assess complaint records and communications for regulatory compliance, reportability, and potential impact to patient safety and business operations.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert in regulatory reporting and the end‑to‑end complaint management process, supporting consistent and compliant decision‑making.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (including Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Safety, Marketing/Sales, CIS, and Device Tracking) and act as a liaison between the Complaint Management Center and key stakeholders to drive alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Lead or contribute to global and divisional post‑market quality projects, coordinating with corporate partners and multiple geographic locations to align strategies and support continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor or Licentiate’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Electronic, Biotechnology, Electromechanical Engineering, or related Health Field.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in similar positions.
- English Level desired: 80% - 90%
