About the role:

Provide accounting expertise and financial support within the General Accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and operational excellence. Experience in areas such as Financial Analysis, Payroll Accounting, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Revenue, Intercompany, and Banking is considered an asset.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Execute general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet account maintenance, and month-end close processes.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information.
  • Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries in compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Maintain and enhance control processes, ensuring compliance with SOX and other applicable requirements.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner, building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing accounting guidance and support to enable business decisions.
  • Create, maintain, and update Desk Top Procedures (DTPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior accountants while promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization initiatives.
  • Support audits, compliance activities, and other department-related initiatives.
  • Participate in projects, process transitions, and transformation initiatives while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related responsibilities as assigned.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (70-80%+).
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial close processes, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with finance teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to mentor and support the development of junior accountants.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Strong customer service mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Experience in a shared services environment preferred.
  • Accountable, results-driven, and committed to high-performance standards.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and respect for others.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency, automation, and process enhancement.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Experience with SAP and Cadency preferred; other ERP systems are also valued.
