About the Role:
The Senior Data Product Manager will lead the evolution of Data & Analytics within the IT Global Operations Quality Data Product Team at Boston Scientific. This role is pivotal in shaping data products that enable quality systems, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and a team of data engineers to deliver scalable, compliant, and value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy
Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business priorities. Drive quarterly PI planning and ensure value-based prioritization of features and goals. - Agile Leadership
Champion Agile, Lean, and User-Centered Design principles. Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and all Scrum ceremonies to ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement. - Backlog & Release Management
Maintain and refine product backlog, write user stories, and validate features. Make release decisions in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders. - Compliance & Governance
Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Security, and Privacy teams to deliver compliant solutions. Manage data governance frameworks and ensure adherence to global standards. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, architecture, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables. Facilitate dependency management and integrated planning across domains. - Performance & Value Tracking
Define objectives, KPIs, and OKRs for product success. Monitor delivery metrics and stakeholder satisfaction to ensure measurable business impact.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience delivering software or data solutions in Global IT.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Proven ability to influence without authority and drive outcomes across multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated environments (medical device, pharma, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with data platforms (AWS, Snowflake), ETL, and analytics.
- Familiarity with data governance, compliance frameworks, and security principles.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, or DBT for data product development.
- Certifications in Agile Product Management (CSPO®, SAFe® POPM) are a plus.
