About the role:
The Senior Reporting Analyst in the Invoice to Cash organization will play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing financial data related to the invoicing and cash collection processes. This position is responsible for creating insightful reports, driving efficiency in financial operations, and supporting business decision-making through data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, data analytics, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to optimize the invoice to cash cycle.
Your responsibilities include:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and produce comprehensive reports and analysis on invoicing, cash collections, and accounts receivable. Summarize findings to identify key performance issues and support effective management decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, and operations teams to understand information requirements and provide actionable insights. Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze data related to the invoice to cash process.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to financial reporting and data analytics. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports and analysis to support the invoice to cash cycle.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the invoicing and cash collection processes. Implement solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize tools such as SAP, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to improve reporting capabilities and automate data extraction processes.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members and other departments on reporting tools and processes. Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reports
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineer, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or a related role within the finance or accounting sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SAP, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in project management and process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in a global or multinational company.
- Knowledge of additional reporting tools and technologies.
- Ability to code in Power BI, Power Query and/or other similar tools
