About the role:

Works closely with Industrial and Production Managers to understand the recruiting needs of the business; anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify recruiting solutions to meet those needs.  Develops, initiates and executes sourcing and recruiting strategies and other Staffing related processes.  Manages multiple clients and competing demands to attract qualified candidates and fill open positions while positioning the organization as an “Employer of Choice”.

This role is critical to supporting business growth, operational excellence, and workforce planning. The ideal candidate will foster strong partnerships with production leadership to proactively align hiring strategies with evolving business needs, including site expansions and workforce transfers.

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the team to meet hiring goals and deliver a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Drive proactive workforce planning initiatives to support business growth, new product introductions, and site transfers.
  • Monitor and report on hiring metrics, team performance, and pipeline health to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with HR, Training, and Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new hires.
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and scalability of DL hiring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and ethical hiring standards.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and make suggestions to improve the staffing process, policies and strategy.  Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.

 

  • Troubleshot problems that arise in connection with the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Work with outside agencies and vendors to support recruiting processes. 
  • Coordinate and manage staffing project requirements with supervisors and managers.
  • Ensure the organization complies with local laws and regulations as it relates to sourcing, recruiting and hiring. 

 

  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting or related field, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using recruiting metrics to drive decisions.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) English level: proven 85%
