Sr. Financial Analyst

 

About the role

This role has excellent visibility in that revenue is the lifeblood of all companies and this role is crucial to helping our senior leadership understand the markets that BSX plays in and our performance within those markets. 

 

CRM Divisional FP&A Support:

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial planning, forecasting, strategic planning, reporting and analysis in support of the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division, with a specific focus on Revenue, Markets and Cost of Goods Sold.  This role may also have modest ancillary operating expense planning, reporting and close support responsibilities along with special projects supporting decision support in our CRM division

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Working cross functionally to gather and publish market information from inside and outside sources to understand general market trends and deep dives on specific product information and performance.

  • Understand US pricing trends within the market and BSX and present/publish that information to divisional leadership.

  • Create revenue annual plan and forecasts ~3 times a year working with US Marketing and Sales teams and a strategic plan once a year.  These are presented to a variety of audiences, including CRM Senior Leadership to forecast and understand trends in the business

  • Prepare and distribute financial reports and packages on a monthly basis by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance.

  • Perform financial analysis, as directed by management, for ad hoc franchise support.   This may include planning, forecasting, and reporting for various department budgets and ad hoc projects that support franchise investment and decision support.

 What we’re looking for:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or similar field 

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in similar finance role

  • Excellent computer skills (financial modeling, Excel and PowerPoint) 

  • Strong financial analysis

  • Excellent communication

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

 

Preferred  Qualifications:

  • CPA or advanced degree (MS or MBA) a plus

  • Experience with Access, SAP and/or Hyperion
