About This Role:

Boston Scientific’s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer will be part of a RPA Center of Excellence (CoE) team that supports process optimization, innovation and automation to drive strategic value. This position is responsible for developing and supporting automation solutions throughout the RPA lifecycle.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to conduct current state process assessments and design future state process automation solutions.
  • Analyze and observe processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications/systems used.
  • Integrate multiple technologies and applications, including industry-leading RPA software, to develop comprehensive automation solutions.
  • Build, test, deliver and maintain automation solutions.
  • Coach, mentor, collaborate and consult with other RPA developers and development and CoE teams.
  • Support and/or participate in project planning and communication for RPA initiatives 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • 1 plus years experience in business-facing IT or business/process analytics role
  • Experience using technology to automate business processes
  • Microsoft Excel, Access skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills, including business process and data analytics
  • Ability to adapt to and embrace change
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative, team environment requiring flexibility and commitment to quality processes and outcomes
  • Ability to manage complex, detailed processes and work assignments
  • Strong self-direction and initiative; willingness to take complete ownership over projects and tasks
  • Process orientation with strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and document business processes and conceptualize automated solutions
  • Ability to develop design documentation for automation processes.
  • Ability to solve problems collaboratively and build strong relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact and influence across departments and geographic locations; awareness of cultural differences 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with RPA technology and applications, such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath, or Power Automate
  • Experience with VBA/VBS, Python, SQL, .NET or Java
  • Experience with software systems supporting manufacturing activities, including Manufacturing Execution, Product Data Management, and ERP systems (e.g. Camstar, Windchill, SAP)
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated initiative to identify and drive improvements
  • Continuous improvement and/or Lean/Six Sigma experience
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of CFR, ISO requirements
