Business Process Analyst II  -  Defined Term 1
 

The Business Process Analyst II position is a one year defined term.

 

About the Role

The Business Process Analyst (BPA) is responsible for supporting the Global Capital Equipment Technical Services (CETS) team at Boston Scientific. The Business Analyst analyzes, specifies, designs, documents, tests, and delivers business systems and Information System process solutions to meet business requirements.

BPA must fully understand process application and data relationship differences across the organization.  The BPA supports and improves the Global Service Management System at Boston Scientific, which is an SAP, Salesforce.com (SFDC), and ServiceMax integrated system. The BPA also enhances MS Teams use and efficiency within the Microsoft O365 environment. 

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Defines and re-engineer business systems or Information System processes by using appropriate methods and tools and partnering with process owners to understand requirements.
  • Collaborate with SFDC, SAP, and Subject Matter Experts (SME) in Service, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the capital equipment business processes.
  • Gather requirements and design, data map, develop, test, train, and deploy processes.
  • Utilizes information systems to improve efficiency and makes recommendations for implementation of new systems or necessary upgrades to better meet customer and company requirements.
  • Guide’s implementation of business systems and processes by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations.
  • Responsible for issue investigation, drilling down to root cause and identifying patterns/trends
  • Responsible for becoming experts in procedures and making sure they are aligned with current processes.

 

 

What We’re Looking for

 

 

Required Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in work experience in Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of systems and business process experience within Sales and Service support.
  • Strong technical aptitude in data analytics and problem-solving.
  • Business system management experience
  • Self-motivated independent worker.
  • Highly adaptable, flexible, and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures.
  • Self-directing with a strong attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work with others in a team environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – specifically O365 (Excel Power Query and Power Pivot, Power BI).
  • Proficient in Microsoft VISIO – ability to create swim lanes, cross functional process, and system flows.
  • Salesforce applications and functional systems knowledge.
  • Six Sigma certifications or equivalent.
