About the role:

This Business Process Continuity Program Manager partners with global finance teams and global process leaders to identify and mitigate business continuity risks across end-to-end business processes, with the goal of ensuring continuity and readiness for Magellan deployments. This effort helps establish harmonized business processes, forming the foundation to optimize processes, technology, resources, and data by the Global Process community, while maintaining a strong control environment.

This role plays a key part in business transformation by accelerating process standardization and adoption across global functions. The individual will guide business partners, support business readiness initiatives, and lead risk mitigation efforts, ensuring global implementation success while promoting best practices and innovation.

 

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Guide business partners, including Global Process Leads, to identify and mitigate business continuity risks across end-to-end business processes to ensure adherence to standard processes.
  • Partner with business teams and Global Process Leads to share best practices from Magellan implementations and accelerate process standardization, harmonization, and adoption.
  • Develop and execute plans to identify and manage risks across global, cross-functional teams to protect overall business performance.
  • Facilitate business readiness for high-risk processes, including current-state process mapping; future-state (“to-be”) mapping as Magellan changes are defined; and development of mitigation plans that assess impact and severity.
  • Support the development of contingency plans for residual or unmitigated risks.
  • Track risk-reduction activities and communicate risk status through scorecards and regular updates.
  • Assess risks related to data, local applications, tools, and training needs using process risk assessments.
  • Influence business leaders, global process teams, and deployment teams to deliver plans on schedule.
  • Support issue resolution, problem solving, and escalation, as appropriate.
  • Work cross-culturally to motivate teams in the development and adoption of global solutions.
  • Promote the use of technology, including process mapping, modeling, mining, and intelligent automation, to drive enterprise-wide innovation.
  • Promote best practices and support the adoption of continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to support key enterprise priorities.

 

Qualifications:


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or another relevant field.
  • 6+ years of professional finance experience in a large, global organization (e.g., multi-entity and/or multi-currency operations).
  • Demonstrated business process orientation (e.g., documenting current/future state, process mapping, defining KPIs).
  • Hands-on process improvement and Lean/continuous improvement experience with measurable outcomes (e.g., cycle-time reduction, defect reduction, or cost savings).
  • Project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • Effective interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills for stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of process changes.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or comparable advanced degree.
  • Experience facilitating structured workshops and Kaizen/rapid-improvement events.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
