About the role: 

This role will partner with our business partners to deliver and support enterprise-wide Quality applications to improve processes and create efficiencies. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of software implementation, including planning, developing user requirements/user stories, analyzing, testing, implementing, and ongoing support to meet business needs.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defines and re-engineers business systems or information technology processes by using appropriate methods and tools and partnering with process owners to understand requirements.
  • Drive or participate in all stages of software implementation including planning, gathering user stories/requirements, researching solutions, design, configuration/development, testing, rollout and maintenance
  • Utilizes information systems to improve efficiency and makes recommendations for implementation of new systems or necessary upgrades that will best meet customer and company requirements.
  • Guides implementation of enterprise and system level architectures and systems by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations.
  • Assures quality of business systems by developing and executing test specifications, and implementing test and quality plans, while working with quality assurance analysts to improve IT quality processes.
  • Works closely with the development team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution according to the specifications and implementation of business needs.
  • Manage communications amongst technical staff, vendors, and internal partners
  • Guides implementation of enterprise and system level architectures and systems by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations.
  • Creates and provides quality training material for user assistance and system usage.
  • Resolves issues related to business use of implemented systems or processes by working with systems or process owners and project teams to find acceptable solutions.
  • Manages process improvement projects by applying basic project management methodology.
  • Ensure that system & related processes meet all applicable compliance requirements
  • Ensure adherence to BSC Global Systems Methodology
  • May lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with a BA degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred for some disciplines

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
