About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the Digital Solutions team in Cardiovascular IT.
This role is responsible for designing and delivering innovative digital capabilities and process solutions to support the company’s clinical trials, product launches, and acquisitions. The Analyst will focus on driving automation, simplifying business processes, and enabling self-service capabilities, contributing to Boston Scientific’s ongoing efforts to strengthen customer preference, improve market positioning, and positively impact patient outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with Research and Development, Product Marketing, and Clinical teams to support strategic business initiatives as a technology partner.
- Guide the implementation of enterprise and system-level architectures and integrated systems by developing and communicating clear requirements, documentation, and presentations.
- Ensure the quality of business systems by developing and executing test specifications and quality plans, while working with quality assurance analysts to enhance processes.
- Work closely with internal and external development teams to ensure timely solutions align with specifications and business needs.
- Define and re-engineer business systems or technology processes by using appropriate methods and tools, partnering with subject matter experts and product owners to gather requirements.
- Create and provide quality training materials for user assistance and system usage.
- Manage process improvement projects by applying basic project management methodology and using available frameworks and tools to define and quantify value.
- Lead multiple project activities simultaneously to support various product launches, working with cross-functional internal and external teams.
- Analyze and document end-to-end information flow across multiple related systems.
- Prepare summaries of analysis and discuss results with internal customers.
- Document complex information clearly for business stakeholders.
- Present key findings and insights to both technical and business audiences.
- Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional colleagues.
- Expand awareness of available data assets and how data can be leveraged to meet business needs.
- Establish and promote a work environment that supports the company's quality policy and systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of progressive IT experience as an analyst supporting software and/or integrated system development.
- Proficiency in querying, analyzing, and summarizing data with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and define business requirements and user stories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with medical device manufacturing business processes and terminology in the healthcare industry, with experience in the medical device industry.
- Previous project experience with Atlassian solutions such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, and Xray.
- Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or similar applications.
- Background supporting projects involving Amazon Web Services, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Learning Manager, Informatica, Salesforce.com, SAP, Snowflake, and/or WebSphere.
