About the role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a results-oriented Customer-to-Cash Product Owner to drive strategic elements of the Magellan Program, our global ERP transformation

Magellan is a global business transformation program aimed at migrating our ERP system from ECC to S4 HANA. The program seeks to simplify, standardize, and modernize core business processes, enabling Boston Scientific to leverage data more effectively and position the company for sustainable, profitable growth. Reporting to the Associate Director of the Magellan Advance team, the Customer-to-Cash Product Owner will serve as the primary liaison between the Magellan Program and Customer-to-Cash Business Stakeholders, with an initial focus on the upcoming deployments across US Commercial Divisions, Distribution Centers, and manufacturing sites in Penang and Galway.

The Customer-to-Cash Product Owner will represent the global Magellan strategy, coordinating the planning, communication, and execution efforts while ensuring alignment with the program's implementation roadmap. This role will also have a matrix reporting line to the Customer-to-Cash Transformation Lead and will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end Capital Equipment processes. Additionally, the role will focus on early engagement activities, process optimization, and global template alignment, working closely with business teams on scoping, risk assessments, data cleansing, and change management.

This is a hybrid opportunity requiring three days on-site at either our Marlborough, MA, or Twin Cities, MN, office locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the Magellan Program and its impact across workstreams, including commercial, inbound, manufacturing, outbound, finance, change management, and master data.
  • Map stakeholders, establish networks, and mobilize engagement by setting expectations and defining a shared purpose and vision.
  • Establish and evolve the SME/Superuser model with business leaders, identifying key global SMEs and ensuring the right regional and site representation for deep-dive and design workshops.
  • Drive site assessments and design workshops during the mobilization phase to make critical decisions on key issues.
  • Develop and track key performance metrics to measure the success of the Advance Phase across various deployments.
  • Continuously assess effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Drive responsibility, accountability, and ownership of actionable items, managing risks, solving problems, and facilitating prompt decision-making or escalations when necessary.
  • Drive all project management disciplines, including defining scopes, charters, roadmaps, and work plans.
  • Work with the business to identify critical “big rock” items and key decision points.
  • Plan and execute early business mobilization in areas such as data cleansing, application remediation, and process standardization.
  • Educate business teams on the existing global template.
  • Act as a change leader, simplifying language and storytelling with change management at the core.
  • Communicate priorities, monitor progress, and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
  • Work closely with the BCP team to proactively mitigate risks.
  • Oversee end-to-end Capital Equipment processes.
  • Develop the Global Template Library, including process maps, key design decisions, and demos for standard functionality.

Required Qualifications:
