Reporting to the Sr. IT Manager, Cardiovascular IT, the Digital Product Manager, Commercial IT, is responsible for driving the deployment of the PACE (Pricing and Contracting Evolution) digital product in partnership with the Vascular Therapies business unit while aligning with divisional strategy.

 

This role also leads digital capabilities supporting Lab Agent, the customer ordering platform, ensuring seamless ordering experiences and operational efficiency. In addition, the role serves as a key liaison between the business and the SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) team, aligning eCommerce platform capabilities with business needs.

 

The Digital Product Manager brings passion for innovation, customer focus and digital transformation to a dynamic, cross-functional team. This individual owns the product vision and definition, represents the voice of users and stakeholders, creates and prioritizes the product backlog, and provides Agile teams with clear direction on priorities and delivery. The role collaborates with center-of-excellence experts and business stakeholders to align value creation and drive innovation across digital commerce initiatives.

 

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:

 

Vision and strategy

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for digital solutions across the Vascular Therapies business unit in alignment with the Global Product Owner, including defining and prioritizing product capabilities, features and enhancements that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with divisional stakeholders to ensure PACE and Lab Agent align with business strategy and requirements.
  • Define and evolve the Lab Agent product strategy, including roadmap development, feature prioritization and integration with broader digital commerce capabilities.
  • Partner with divisional leadership to establish product value propositions, messaging and adoption strategies.
  • Serve as the business-facing product lead for SAP Commerce Cloud, ensuring alignment between eCommerce platform capabilities and business priorities.
  • Partner with the Global Product Manager to align divisional initiatives with global technical feasibility, architecture standards and platform harmonization.
  • Support strategic initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and drive business growth.

 

Stakeholder and team collaboration

  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, the SAP Commerce Cloud team, the Global Product Owner and Agile development teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize solutions.
  • Partner closely with eCommerce platform teams to translate business needs into scalable digital commerce solutions.
  • Facilitate structured communication across divisional sponsors, governance committees and project teams.
  • Mentor and coach team members on Agile product delivery best practices.
  • Support change management activities by assisting business partners with training materials, job aids and user enablement resources.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and engage appropriate teams to ensure successful feature rollout and organizational readiness.

 

Planning and delivery oversight

  • Lead Agile product teams to deliver business value while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Manage delivery and enhancement of Lab Agent ordering capabilities to support customer and commercial objectives.
  • Partner with the Global IT Product Manager to develop project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, budgets and resource requirements.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements and divisional requests based on business value, customer impact and competing priorities.
  • Oversee implementation of product features, ensuring measurable impact across eCommerce and order-to-cash workflows.
  • Monitor sprint and program progress, resolve blockers and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure workstreams meet project objectives and business requirements.

 

Change management

  • Partner with business leaders on change management activities, including training, adoption support and identification of change champions.
  • Drive adoption of Lab Agent and eCommerce capabilities through strong stakeholder engagement and user enablement strategies.
  • Champion a customer-first approach by gathering feedback and leveraging user insights to optimize digital ordering experiences.
  • Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements to enhance future initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to measure adoption and business impact through KPIs, return on investment and operational outcomes.

 

Performance and reporting

  • Develop and maintain KPIs using qualitative and quantitative data from customers, stakeholders, subject matter experts and operational systems.
  • Track Lab Agent performance metrics, including adoption, usage, transaction efficiency and customer experience measures.
  • Partner with data analysts to develop dashboards that communicate KPIs, targets and feature value.
  • Create and communicate status reports, dashboards and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Report divisional program status through established governance forums.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations that communicate progress, business value and outcomes.
  • Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation and resolution plans.

 

Agile team management

  • Facilitate release planning, sprint reviews, sprint demonstrations and daily standups.
  • Drive end-to-end product execution from discovery through delivery while ensuring compliance and operational readiness.
  • Partner with business analysts to support discovery, requirements gathering and estimation activities.
  • Own, refine and prioritize the product backlog in Jira, including features, user stories and enhancements.
  • Translate product vision into actionable features and user stories that align with business objectives.
  • Define sprint goals, oversee backlog refinement activities and accept completed user stories.

 

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a product manager delivering digital solutions.
  • Deep understanding of order-to-cash business processes.
  • Extensive experience supporting website and mobile application implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of digital commerce trends and emerging technologies.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to connect operational metrics to business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capabilities, including managing competing priorities and complex stakeholder negotiations.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for nontechnical audiences.
  • Expertise in Agile development methodologies, including facilitating ceremonies and mentoring team members.
  • Experience using project management tools and delivery frameworks.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience within the medical device, health care or life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, covered entity, privacy and security requirements.
  • Understanding of medical device product development and commercialization processes across the product life cycle.
  • Broad knowledge of supply chain business processes.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, including Tableau, to measure and track KPI performance.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with ethical AI principles and best practices.
  • Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), SAP ECC/S4 and Salesforce.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
