About the role

This Product Manager has direct project and product line responsibility for Core CRM products, including catheters, leads and accessories, with a focus on downstream marketing and commercialization. This includes involvement in developing and implementing marketing programs and tactics to grow share of Boston Scientific CRM implantable devices. This individual will also monitor competitive activity, implement product launches, track marketing programs against goals, develop and maintain product forecasts, conduct portfolio health assessments, and partner with internal campaign team and support sales team. This role will also be a strong input into upstream strategy and investments related to leads and accessories products.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leads continued US commercialization of INGEVITY+ and supports key global market launches.
  • Designs strategies to maximize the profitability of product lines by collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research and performing financial analyses.
  • Contributes toward the development of an annual departmental budget by forecasting future needs, utilizing marketing objectives and budget guidelines.
  • Proposes the allocation of resources to assist in managing products' life cycle from concept through retirement by assessing needs and objectives.
  • Evaluates promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the messages are effectively conveyed.
  • Develops and implements strategies and tactics for product launches and ongoing product continuation to ensure products are properly positioned and that brochures, sales sheets and supporting materials will launch products successfully and stimulate sales. Develops tools to track and report on product launch status.
  • Develops recommendations on appropriate prices for new products and on pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Represents the company at tradeshows, customer events, and by visiting accounts in order to represent and solicit feedback on company products and services.
  • Organizes product evaluations by working with assigned staff in commissioning physicians to participate and working with internal departments to schedule events.
  • Drives collaboration and leads product strategy to assist campaign team with channel plans as related to commercialized product.
  • Partners with medical education to ensure appropriate materials are available for KOLs and key implanters who speak on podium.

 

What we're looking for in you

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Engineering, Science, Healthcare/Biomedical strongly preferred)
  • Advanced degree (Masters, MBA) preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience in product marketing, preferably within medical device
  • Ability to come up to speed quickly on a broad portfolio of technologies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills; experience presenting to large groups preferred
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who enjoys leading multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • KOL engagement and sales communications experience a plus
  • Willing to travel up to 20% (when appropriate to resume)
