About This Role:

The Engineering position will provide support to the organization to optimize existing systems, processes and equipment. Interface with leaders and engineers across the facility to integrate new systems, processes and equipment. Monitors performance, develops and executes plans for improvement. 

 

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Analyzes and solves problems from basic engineering principles, theories and concepts through to a wide range of complex and advanced problems which require novel and new innovative approaches.
  • Understands engineering principles theories, concepts, practices and techniques.  Develops knowledge in a field to become a recognized leader or authority in an area of specialization and applies this knowledge in leadership roles in the company.
  • Cultivates internal and external network of resources to complete tasks.  May lead project teams, determine goals and objectives for projects. Mentors employees by sharing technical expertise and providing feedback and guidance.
  • Order, install, and qualify new equipment when deemed necessary.
  • Troubleshoot existing and new systems / processes working closely with engineers, technicians and contractors.
  • Lead value improvement projects. Continually seek to drive / improvements throughout the facility
  • Actively promote and participate in a cross-functional teamwork environment.
  • Assist in the analysis, development and implementation of preventive actions which proactively resolve systems, process and equipment issues.
  • Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop systems, processes and procedures

 

 

What We're Looking For In You:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering.
  • 1-5 years Engineering experience.
  • Strong leadership with effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives with limited supervision.
  • Ability to apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify prioritizes, create process improvement roadmaps and resolve complex engineering and quality issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple initiatives/projects concurrently.
