About This Role:

We are seeking a passionate degreed engineer to assist in executing, directing, and coordinating activities with construction and maintenance of buildings, equipment, machinery and grounds related to our 100-acre campus. You will work on a team of engineers that work directly with management on projects and new capital investments.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leads projects involving building maintenance, repairs and improvements including equipment related to compressed air systems, HVAC systems, energy systems, electrical systems, process water systems and structure
  • Develops and executes requirements related to facilities projects, facilities systems that support production, special projects, construction management and utilization of outside contractors.
  • Analyzes and solves problems using basic engineering principles, theories and concepts through to a wide range of complex and advanced problems.
  • Cultivates internal and external network of resources to complete tasks.  Will lead project teams, determine goals and objectives for projects.
  • Troubleshoot existing and new systems working closely with other engineers, technicians and contractors.
  • Lead value improvement projects. Continually seek to drive improvements throughout the facility.
  • Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop systems, processes and procedures.

 

What We're Looking For In You:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering.
  • 1-5 years Engineering experience.
  • Strong leadership with effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives with limited supervision.
  • Ability to apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify prioritizes, create process improvement roadmaps and resolve complex engineering and quality issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple initiatives/projects concurrently.
