About This Role:
We are seeking a passionate degreed engineer to assist in executing, directing, and coordinating activities with construction and maintenance of buildings, equipment and machinery related to our 100-acre campus. You will work on a team of engineers that work directly with management on projects and new capital investments.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Leads projects involving building maintenance, repairs and improvements including equipment related to compressed air systems, HVAC systems, energy systems, electrical systems, process water systems and structure.
- Develops and executes requirements related to facilities projects, facilities systems that support production, special projects, construction management and utilization of outside contractors.
- Analyzes and solves problems using basic engineering principles, theories and concepts through to a wide range of complex and advanced problems.
- Cultivates internal and external network of resources to complete tasks. Will lead project teams, determine goals and objectives for projects.
- Troubleshoot existing and new systems working closely with other engineers, technicians and contractors.
- Lead value improvement projects. Continually seek to drive improvements throughout the facility.
- Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop systems, processes and procedures.
What We're Looking for In You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Engineering experience.
- Strong leadership with effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives with limited supervision.
- Ability to apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify prioritizes, create process improvement roadmaps and resolve complex engineering and quality issues.
- Ability to handle multiple initiatives/projects concurrently.
