Field Inventory Planner II
About the Role:
At Boston Scientific, the Field Inventory Planner II requires someone with a strong methodical ability that can work in a team environment. This exciting role will provide the opportunity to partner with multiple departments including Field Sales, Sales Ops and Marketing. Solid Excel skills are a definite need and the ability to be coached and directed will assist in making this job a success. Responsibilities unique to this position are having a good understanding of process flows and outstanding customer service skills. Assure the success of new product launches by executing launch guidelines and policies accurately. In addition, managing consignment program and field inventory to the benefit of the business.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the execution of New Product Launches by establishing procedures and processes to ensure a successful launch.
- Ensure Inventory transactional systems are fully capable of meeting the ongoing business needs.
- Is a leading team member, fully motivated to achieve & demonstrate best practices in line with the department objectives?
- Effective Inventory process & control to meet business goals. (i.e., Accuracy, Service, turns).
- General Inventory reporting, i.e., Cycle-Counting, Inventory turns, when necessary.
- Give ongoing education to the Sales Force regarding consignment program compliance of guidelines, and field inventory levels, to include reporting and metrics.
- Pro-actively looking for and implementing inventory improvement opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years business support/analyses or related work experience
- Proficient in EXCEL, Microsoft Word, and Salesforce.com
- Strong verbal and written communication Skills
- Strong customer service Skills
- Self-motivated and functioning independently while following workflow
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sales Force Program Management experience
- Customer Service experience
- Experience with SAP, GSR, and Tableau

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
