About the role:
This Electrophysiology (EP) Capital Product Manager III has a critical role in our Electrophysiology division, with responsibility for supporting the FARASTAR™ Pulsed Field Ablation Generator and OPAL HDx™ mapping system. The focus of this role is downstream marketing, encompassing the development and implementation of marketing messages, programs, and tactics to drive market share, as well as overseeing product lifecycle management, new product launches, and sustaining efforts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Use classic marketing capabilities to further business objectives, such as market understanding, market segmentation, customer targeting, product positioning and message development.
- Supports innovative downstream marketing solutions, programs and tools to create value and support the needs of the Sales Team.
- Evaluates promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Analyzes franchise sales trends and performs customer segmentation to drive strategic and tactical decision making – synthesizes into dashboards
- Execution of strategies to maximize the profitability of product lines by collaborating with assigned staff, conducting market research and performing financial analyses.
- Supports and leads execution of comprehensive competitive response plans.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for capital.
- Spends time in the field to gain market and clinical insights, as well as build relationships with key physicians.
- Supports training plans and tactics that will impact perception and adoption of capital solutions globally.
- Supports corporate accounts on IDN strategy
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of professional experience
- 2+ years of downstream experience (i.e. product management, sales engagement and campaign)
- Analytical skills and ability to craft business plan
- Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects
- Ability to develop clinical expertise in medical devices
- Understanding of how to determine customer needs within medical device markets
- Willing to travel up to 30% (possibly international)
Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years of medical device experience
- Experience in sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success working as an integral cross functional team member
- Background in capital management
- Exposure to electrophysiology
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
