As a Global Supply Chain Intern, you will join a dynamic and collaborative team where you'll contribute to real-world projects that drive efficiency, improve global operations, and strengthen the end-to-end supply chain network. The Global Supply Chain (GSC) team’s mission is implementing focused supply chain strategies that support business growth, profitability objectives, and service level excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SI&OP) process by helping to ensure consistent practices across global supply chain teams
- Help maintain accurate data and support key planning activities, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and product replenishment, using the Kinaxis Rapid Response system
- Analyze, interpret, and share supply chain performance in key improvement areas- such as forecast accuracy, supply variability, inventory, service level, backorder, excess, expired or obsolete stock etc.
- Assist the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Control Tower team with automating tools for collecting and reporting supply chain data
- Contribute to corporate supply chain projects by helping to plan tasks, coordinate with teams across departments, track progress, and support project completion
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or master’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations with an expected graduation date between Fall 2026 - June 2027
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills, MN or Maple Grove, MN corporate Boston Scientific location
- Must be able to commit to a 12-week internship, beginning May 18th and ending August 7th
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Experience preferred within Microsoft, especially Excel
- Organized and able to consistently deliver on deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and ability to organize complex data
- Leadership experience, extracurricular activities, and/or volunteer work are a plus
