About the role:

The Upstream Group Marketing Manager will be responsible for building and leading an Upstream Marketing team dedicated to bringing an ICE (Intracardiac Echocardiography) product offering to the Boston Scientific EP portfolio. They will guide the future of a new BSC ICE portfolio consisting of the ICE catheter, consoles, accessories, and integrated ICE systems. They will assess needs and create an ICE strategy to best drive adoption of BSC ICE products and drive the growth of FARAPULSE Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) cases. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing the Upstream EP Marketing team focused on ICE catheters, ICE accessories (including cables, pedals, etc.), and future ICE iterations or improvements. 
  • Partnering with Upstream Marketing peers and team members on the FARAPULSE, OPAL HDx, WATCHMAN (and more) teams to ensure a cohesive ICE strategy that aligns with future AF Solutions needs. 
  • Building strong working relationships with Boston Scientific Clinical experts, R&D teams, Software Development teams, Project Management teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure a well-defined product that can drive adoption of Boston Scientific ICE in a competitive market. 
  • Working closely with Global EP Marketing (Downstream) teams to support commercial launch activities, including influencing Sales Training, Medical Education and Scientific Affairs teams to set up the Franchise for a successful global ICE product launch. 
  • Recommending and coordinating all Franchise level market research and Voice of Customer activities for ICE. 
  • Creating an ICE focused market research plan to get product feedback at Advisory Boards, EP Conferences, and case observations; and collect additional information via market research studies. 
  • Driving Global Franchise alignment for ICE user needs across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions. 
  • Other duties as required. 

 

Required qualifications: 

  • Completion of undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science or Arts)  
  • 5+ years of successful related business experience; clinical imaging support; medical device, research and development, and/or new product development efforts 
  • Proven track record completing new product development milestones  
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making 
  • Drive global alignment with different functional groups on key areas of product development strategies 
  • Willing to travel 20% of time in role, both domestic and international travel 
  • Ability to work at and be based out of the Arden Hills, Waltham, or Mississauga office 

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Previous experience managing people is strongly preferred 
  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
