About the Role:
We are seeking self-motivated, influential, engaged leader and team player with demonstrated experience entrenching themselves in the assigned topic area, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both internal and external audiences. You have experience and a proven history of success sourcing and translating customer insights (physicians, patients [consumers], economic customers) into actionable strategic omnichannel plans, content strategies and programs that increase awareness and encourage product adoption and usage within our core customer base. You have demonstrated ability to adapt to and lead others through changing business conditions/plans while continuing to be proactive and drive projects to completion.  

 

Your responsibilities will include:
This leader and their team will drive conception, execution and optimization of innovative Cardiology omnichannel programs rooted in customer insights, understanding customer behavior, motivations and key barriers to adoption. Employee will work closely with and collaborate effectively with Product Marketing, Content Strategy, Customer Experience, Creative Integration, Global Digital Marketing, Public Relations, outside agencies, Sales, global partners, Corporate Branding, Clinical, Legal and Regulatory. She/he will work across multiple business areas, and ensure strategies are aligned to overall company goals and objectives.


⦁    Lead team in sourcing customer-insights to continually deepen understanding of mindset/behavior of physicians, patients and payers and key barriers to adoption 
⦁    Effectively incorporate customer insights into the development of innovative campaigns and omnichannel programs
⦁    Drive customer-centricity and omnichannel innovation and evolution in all respective verticals 
⦁    Partner with cross-functional teams to formulate and execute annual and long range global omnichannel planning
⦁    Collaborate with Marketing Activation & Strategy (MA&S) Leadership to set direction to achieve overall organization objectives 
⦁    Propose strategies and tactical plans aimed at short-term and long-term revenue goals
⦁    Engage with business franchise leadership to ensure high-impact prioritization of programs, tactics and resources in alignment with key priorities
⦁    Accelerate content strategy discipline within direct team and influence forward-leaning progress throughout the broader commercial organization
⦁    Oversee breadth of campaign execution, optimization and reporting
⦁    Ensure consistency in the Boston Scientific brand within specified channels
⦁    Ensure tangible metrics established to evaluate program impact and reassess objectives and outcomes
⦁    Responsible for continuous improvement of customer experience and content strategy
⦁    Embody a test, learn, iterate mindset and uphold within team culture
⦁    Continually analyze the systems and processes the team uses for conducting their work and seek out opportunities to remove barriers and improve efficiencies, beginning with strategic planning all the way through tactical execution, channel distribution, archival and eventually disposal
⦁    Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports while driving best practices throughout their organization
⦁    Oversee complex cross-business projects and empower team to build competencies in functional areas of expertise to work independently
⦁    Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives
⦁    Recruit top talent to the organization and develop a results-oriented team.

⦁    Direct and manage the activities and budget of functional initiatives across multiple product groups, projects/programs and/or operations

⦁    Communicate proactively to all levels of management and all stakeholders, managing alignment, understanding and program expectations
⦁    Global understanding, consultation and content sharing as defined by business needs

 

What we're looking for in you: 

Required Qualifications:
⦁    Undergraduate degree 
⦁    7+ years of marketing experience 
⦁    Experience leading a team of employees in definition and achievement of organizational goals
⦁    Excellent coaching, personnel development and leadership skills
⦁    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
⦁    Demonstrated record of success and leadership

 

Preferred Qualifications:
⦁    Strategic thinking and strong analytics
⦁    Medical Device experience preferred
⦁    Strong presentation development and delivery skills
⦁    Ability to create productive working relationships with cross-functional and global stakeholders
⦁    Ability to influence people outside of the marketing organization for buy-in and action
