About the role:
The HR Talent Strategy & Project Delivery Leader is responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of key talent management initiatives and HR projects across the organization. This role blends deep expertise in talent management with advanced project and portfolio management capabilities to ensure alignment with business priorities and delivery of measurable impact.

 

This leader will partner closely with global HR teams, senior business stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams to design and execute programs that enhance organizational capability, improve talent outcomes, and support Boston Scientific’s culture of performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

 

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

Talent management strategy & execution

  • Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide talent management strategies, including acquisition, retention, deployment, talent review, succession planning, and organizational development
  • Partner with business leaders and HR teams to translate business needs into actionable strategies aligned with global HR objectives

Project & portfolio delivery

  • Identify, prioritize, and manage strategic HR and talent initiatives that drive business results
  • Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring achievement of milestones and deliverables
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership, supported by compelling business cases and clear implementation strategies
  • Oversee the development and communication of supporting infrastructure such as guidelines, processes, training, and organizational structures
  • Establish and manage reporting, metrics, and performance tracking for all talent and HR project initiatives

Business analysis & process improvement

  • Conduct business analysis to support strategic and operational HR planning
  • Drive process improvement efforts to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of HR functions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document business requirements and share best practices across geographies and business units

Leadership & collaboration

  • Mentor and guide project teams and HR colleagues, fostering a collaborative and agile work environment
  • Lead communities of practice to support knowledge sharing and development of best practices in talent and project management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across HR, business units, and external partners to support program success

Quality & compliance

  • Champion quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in all initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

 

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Specialized expertise in talent management, organizational development, and project/portfolio management
  • Strong business acumen and ability to apply industry best practices to improve HR products, processes, and services
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in HR, talent management, or related functions
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to present complex information to senior leadership
  • Experience in change management, strategic planning, and business process improvement within HR or related areas

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile) or Talent Management (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI-SPHR)
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
