About this role: 

The primary responsibility of the Business Process Analyst is to support the business processes associated within the device tracking department by analyzing plans and performs business process reviews at a department or company level. This individual partners with various operations functions to manage and continuously improve these business processes.  This role is responsible for developing, testing, and implementing standardized processes to meet business needs.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Work with management and other subject matter experts to define goals and support projects
  • Leverage detailed knowledge of business processes and contribute ideas/recommendations for improvement.
  • Bridge between IT teams and business requestors to design systems / processes to meet business needs.  
  • Project related activities will include drafting project updates, mapping process flows, analysis of critical activities, basic financial analysis (ROI justification for projects), and transactional testing.  
  • Appropriately communicates status updates, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items. 
  • Fosters business partnerships by collaborating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders at all levels of the organization 
  • Works closely with development teams (internal and external) to assure timely solutions are delivered according to the specifications and implementation requirements of the business. 
  • Drives or participates in all stages of process and system integration from gathering user requirements and researching options, design, testing, to implementation and maintenance. 
  • Identifies opportunities for business process improvements and establishes effective and efficient processes using Lean methods. 
  • Ensures that processes and related systems meet all applicable compliance requirements.  
  • Creates and provides reference material / documents for user assistance and system usage.  
  • May take part in multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups. 

 

What we’re looking for in you: 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with leadership 
  • Self-driven and capable of prioritization with minimal oversight 
  • Experience executing testing of complex multi-system automations.
  • Experience in Boston Scientific’s business & quality systems

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • SAP experience 
  • TRAC II experience
  • Ability to partner with multiple business divisions and geographies
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Understanding and experience with requirements/user stories and UAT
