About the role: 
The Business Analyst, Commercial Integrations & Analytics reports to Manager, Business Transformation--Sales Operations and will have responsibility to US Sales Enablement organization and the Magellan program, the BSC Global SAP S/4 implementation.  In this role, the Commercial Integrations & Analytics BA will help define and deploy the next generation of commercial data capabilities at BSC. 


The Business Analyst role will be a member of a dynamic team contributing to cross-divisional/regional commercial analytics and business intelligence solutions.  Foundational to the role will be design, configuration, integration and analytics across SAP S/4 and purpose-built solutions (e.g., SAP Sales Cloud, salesforce.com, Anaplan, Conga, Model N, etc).   

As a member of the team, you will participate in projects following Scaled Agile project Framework. In addition, the Business Analyst represents the Business Users, collaborating with the Magellan and Sales Enablement workstreams, Strategic Integration vendors, BSC Business Process Leads, Subject Matter Experts, Communities of Practice and other Stakeholders across the BSC organization.  

Your responsibilities include:

  • Help drive the data and reporting vision and strategy for BSC Commercial and Sales Operation teams while building towards future state capabilities (Predictive Analytics/AI/RPA etc.)
  • Represent the business users and stakeholders to define User Requirements 
  • Translate User Requirements into User Stories that include the ‘Who, What, Why’ for Acceptance Criteria.
  • Coordinate with the other project workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, BSC BPL’s, SME’s, Communities of Practice’s, IT Solution Architects/COE and Stakeholders across the network to develop a strong and deep pool of expertise across Outbound Order to Cash.
  • Collaborate with the Training team and Site Super Users/BPLs/SMEs to develop training plans for each of the key Applications to enhance the knowledge base
  • Collaborate with the Magellan Outbound Workstream and the extended Magellan program (Program Management, IT Solution Architects, SAP COE and Magellan Functional Workstreams) in a Scalable Agile Framework/DevOps methodology, to enable rapid deployment. 
  • Support a dynamic team that encourages constructive feedback and open dialogue contributing to team members achieving full potential


What we’re looking for:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science or supply chain related field required.
  • Technical professional or operational Analytics/Business Intelligence experience in medical device field 
  • Strong experience in working on data modelling tools, BI and Data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI, Alteryx etc.)
  • Previous experience of a major program introduction/upgrade, ideally within an IT/Systems or Business Representative role.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and the broader Application Ecosystem and Interfaces, combined with knowledge of key business processes.
  • A proven track record of Continuous Improvement, system upgrades/enhancements, proactive problem solving or LBP.


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in BSC Sales Operations, Marketing, IT or related commercial functions with a focus on Sales Analytics and Reporting 
  • Ability to establish, communicate and engage teams in the vision & strategy of the Magellan Program.

  • Role location is flexible, with participation at Team meetings, collaborative project events, with a Marlborough/Minnesota focus and across Outbound Order to Cash locations.
