Sr. Supply Chain Analyst


About the Role


The Senior Global Supply Chain Analyst is part of the Global Field Inventory Management Team that supports global, strategic, division, and region-focused standardization and improvement programs. This matrixed role provides the unique opportunity to work with tactical supply chain teams for a function (i.e., Customer Service, Distribution), division, and region, while also being involved in projects with a broad corporate impact. Involvement in activities and tasks ranging from strategic to tactical spectrums requires high-performance individuals who can quickly adapt to the task at hand. This may range from creative out-of-the-box thinking, consulting skills, project management, coordination, and planning, to skillful manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data. The Sr Analyst is also expected to work efficiently with the systems and tools that support the various business functions.


Your Responsibilities Includes


  • Develop business analytics that enables identification, prioritization, and justification of improvement programs that optimize global supply chain performance.
  • Analyze supply chain and operational data, and identify key trends, correlations, and improvement areas (e.g., order mgmt., scrap, service level, field inventory optimization, and lead time improvement); Build and maintain methodology and tools for ongoing analysis.
  • Ability to align and understand relationships and constraints between analytics, processes, and business requirements. Model impact of to-be scenarios.
  • Develop and report key performance indicators.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for current systems, accounting, and reporting methods.
  • Maintain and update essential information and data in core department applications.
  • Provide Field Inventory Management Team with analytical support and reporting
  • Support annual field inventory planning and target setting across divisions/regions
  • Support and lead projects, develop the approach, communicate plans and tasks to divisional and global participants, manage projects to timeline, and successfully achieve project goals.
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision.


What We are Looking For:


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 3 – 5 years of Supply Chain or Analyst experience
  • Strong Analytical skills, ability to structure and perform complex data analysis
  • Proficiency in financial planning and analytics


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proactive ability to draw conclusions and recommendations from analysis performed
  • Experience with data/Analytical systems & tools (SAP, GSR, Tableau, etc.) 
  • Field Inventory management experience desired
