About the role:

Primary focus is to build quality product by following processes to meet all production goals.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Mill material to prepare and replenish material as needed
  • Operate various equipment and software for processing and material testing
  • Operate heavy tonnage press
  • Set up press, make adjustments, and perform maintenance on press as needed
  • Load/unload parts for overmolded components
  • Evaluate parts via microscope for gross defects
  • Troubleshoot process settings upon detection of defects to minimize scrap
  • Clean cannisters, molds, and corepins
  • Communicate to the team about ongoing issues and resolutions
  • Work with peers to troubleshoot and prioritize goals

 

What we're looking for:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to learn and understand automation and semi-automation
  • Moderate troubleshooting skills (mechanical and critical thinking)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient with basic computer programs
  • Team player attributes

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Molding experience
  • Technical experience/background
  • Microscope experience
  • Silicone experience
