About the role:
Responsibilities include assignment planning, layout, set up and operating and making tool adjustments for a variety of conventional or automatic machines. Works from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances. May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.
 
Your responsibilities include:

  • Prepares parts for machining, and operates variety of manual and automatic machines.
  • Monitors parts through production by visual observation and referencing blueprints to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Records production and quality data in appropriate databases per manufacturing instructions.
  • Performs preventative maintenance tasks on machines.

 

What We’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with High School Diploma.
  • Read and write English in order to complete paperwork and understand written procedures, specifications, GMP’s and quality requirements.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions when performing a variety of measurements and assembly operations.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to maintain lean systems

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of related experience with certification in assigned area preferred
