Friday - Sunday (6AM - 6PM)
About the role:
Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations (including QSE and ISO Standards). Has in-depth knowledge of safety principles, hazards and requirements.
- Participates in the Material Review Board (MRB) decision process. Complies with all Boston Scientific quality requirements and procedures.
- Performs routine and complex equipment setup. Owns corrective, preventive and calibration maintenance tasks.
- Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools and fixtures.
- Work with other technicians and engineers on process improvement. Some experience of project execution.
- Interpret equipment passed downs to continue troubleshooting through the weekend and effectively communicate status/progress to in-week technicians.
- Work independently on complex electrical equipment with limited guidance.
Required qualifications:
- 3 years of experiences with AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years of complex electrical troubleshooting experiences
- Experience working with semiconductor and/or electrical test industry experience
- Experience working with Robotics/Automation equipment support experience
- MUST have the ability to work independently with strong cross-shift communication skills
