About the role:
Boston Scientific continues to innovate in how we deliver education and training to healthcare practitioners. We have expanded our footprint and capabilities to bring education directly to our learners with our mobile training platform, Innovation Drive. Additionally, our Professional Education team continues to explore partnerships with off-site Centers of Excellence to deliver best-in-class educational experiences to our learners.

 

The Off-Site Experience Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive process to consistently execute exceptional educational events. This individual will need a unique combination of logistics management skills, project management aptitude, process development expertise, product and platform knowledge, and the ability to lead meaningful and directive collaboration with the field teams.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a process to determine educational needs and priorities for US area geographies for Innovation Drive.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Global Launch Teams, and Sales Training to ensure education curriculum and execution plans align with business and commercial objectives.
  • Develop a RACI chart to align and communicate roles and responsibilities for program development, logistics management, SME scheduling, and route determination.
  • Organize and maintain the master calendar with regular communication of updates to internal stakeholders and field personnel.
  • Manage vendor relationships with the Mobile Lab management company and future partners.
  • Coordinate cross-functional staffing for each mobile lab stop.
  • Confirm the availability of Mobile Tools and Simulators to support each event.
  • Organize a regular cadence of collaboration between sales training and professional education.
  • Communicate with local field teams to set expectations and ensure the successful execution of each program.
  • Define trackable deliverables and KPIs with regular reports to leadership teams and recommendations for improvement strategies.
  • Establish a regular cadence of meetings with key stakeholders in all US areas, including key sales leadership individuals.

 

Required qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device industry.
  • Project management experience and mindset.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Technical or clinical experience, or project management experience in the medical device industry.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to grasp technical content.
  • Passionately collaborative and adept at quickly building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Cardiology experience preferred.
