Weekend AM shift (shift 4)

 

About the role:

Primary focus is to build quality product by following processes to meet all production goals.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Provide support for wire cutter spool change out, clearing of alarms and adjustments.
  • Setup and cleaning/rebuilding of valves for Asymtek machine.
  • Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and equipment such as small lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills or punch presses, power brakes, shears or saws.
  • May build product based upon business needs
  • May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines.
  • Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances.
  • Some machines may be numerically controlled.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.


What we're looking for:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to learn and understand automation and semi-automation
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient with basic computer programs
  • Team player attributes


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ experience with running automation lines and a proven track record of high production and quality.
  • Strong ability to communicate and work cross-functionally with engineering team.
  • Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to become cross-trained in other areas of need to increase production versatility.
  • Experience with Brady and Tachy production processes of Batteries required.
