About the role:

As a Principal ASC/OBL Commercial Strategy Analyst at Boston Scientific, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategies that directly impact growth across Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) and Office-Based Labs (OBL). This high-visibility position blends advanced analytics, pricing strategy, and market insight to influence key decisions across the U.S. Corporate Accounts organization.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Translate complex datasets into actionable commercial insights to guide strategic planning, pricing models, and market growth strategies.
  • Lead development and optimization of analytics tools and dashboards (Tableau, SFDC) that track performance, pricing, and contract trends across ASC/OBL markets.
  • Serve as an analytical thought partner to leadership—supporting proactive market modeling, pricing decisions, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Account Directors, Marketing, and Finance to align analytics with business objectives and commercial initiatives.
  • Own the ASC Deal Dashboard, ensuring data integrity, insight-to-action alignment, and ongoing user engagement.
  • Support cross-functional enablement by enhancing data quality, automating workflows, and improving analytics processes in partnership with IT and Data Product Managers.
  • Communicate insights clearly through data visualization and strategic storytelling that drive decision-making at all organizational levels.
  • Represent Commercial Analytics in cross-functional projects, championing continuous improvement and innovation.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years business or commercial experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing, contracting, or analytics roles
  • Experience with Tableau, Model N, or comparable business intelligence tools for data visualization and reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and analytical modeling
  • Proven ability to link analytics with business strategy and translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience collaborating across matrixed teams in commercial, marketing, and finance environments
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs require.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or relevant Master’s degree (e.g., Business Analytics, Economics, or Health Policy)
  • Prior medical device or healthcare industry experience, ideally supporting ASC or OBL markets
  • Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce) and integration of CRM data into analytics models
  • Knowledge of AI-driven analytics and application of predictive modeling in commercial strategy
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and communicate complex insights through compelling strategic storytelling

 

Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office in either Maple Grove, Minnesota or Marlborough, MA at least three days per week.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
