About the Role:
The Content Development Manager, Patient Experience, has strategic and tactical responsibilities in leading the planning and development of the division’s patient experience digital content. The Content Development Manager drives successful content strategy & development in support of the patient experience objectives while providing exceptional digital experiences for customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content strategy, excellent writing skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Content Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals and audience needs.
- Conduct and analyze research and competitive analysis to inform content planning.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Oversee the content development process, from ideation to publication, ensuring high-quality, engaging content across all platforms (web, email, social, etc).
- Collaborate with writers, designers, videographers and other stakeholders to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences.
- Editorial Oversight:
- Establish and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely content delivery.
- Proactive contingency planning with project management, creative team members and strategy partners before and during the content creation process.
- Review and edit content for clarity, tone, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Identify content opportunities through industry trends and a strong understanding of our customers. Continually identify ways to innovate content creation and distribution.
- Performance Analysis:
- Collaborate with the Senior Analyst to develop reporting that informs the content strategy, including content engagement, trends, and changes in behavior.
- Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and enhance visibility.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy and development, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience in direct-to-consumer and consumer experience (CX) programs.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience with SEO and digital marketing strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
- In all actions, demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
