About the role:
Reporting to the Global Senior Finance Manager, the Principal Revenue Analyst will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Global Capital Equipment and Technical Services (CETS) organization. This role provides revenue planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical support, requiring strong financial modeling, data accuracy, ERP/reporting systems experience, effective communication, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead global revenue and bookings reporting, analysis, and insights for Capital Equipment and Service, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Own month-end service revenue and bookings consolidation and management reporting processes.
- Develop AOP, strategic plan, and forecast models for global revenue and bookings.
- Provide finance leadership for annual pricing, the Global Pricing Initiative, and related commercial initiatives.
- Serve as the U.S. revenue SME for Magellan, supporting process readiness, data accuracy, reporting requirements, and adoption.
- Serve as the Service Revenue Business Process Lead (BPL), driving process governance, continuous improvement, and stakeholder alignment.
- Act as the local and divisional deferred revenue accounting SME, partnering with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and controls.
- Partner with CETS commercial leaders as a trusted finance advisor and subject matter expert.
- Drive process improvements across planning, reporting, and analytics to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality.
- Support alignment with finance policies, standard operating procedures, and Boston Scientific quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive Accounting/Finance experience
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Very strong analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Background and experience in integrated ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Experience in reporting & analytical tools such as Tableau
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, Master's degree, CPA, or equivalent advanced professional certification.
- 7+ years of relevant FP&A experience within medical devices, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly regulated, innovation‑driven industries
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to influence business partners and drive process improvements.
