About the role:
Boston Scientific believes that to grow our business, we must grow our people.  With that as context, the Principal Specialist, L&D in Talent Management will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation and support of enterprise development initiatives.  This encompasses processes and tools supporting executive development, manager & employee development, talent planning and movement, and enterprise tools.  They will partner with Global Service Owners, talent management teams in EMEA, APAC and the Americas, HRBPs and People Services.  BSC is looking for a strong and credible Talent Management practitioner who is passionate and driven to build and engrain a culture of development at Boston Scientific.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the global policies, processes, tools and programs for various Global Service Owners and their areas including Executive Development, Manager Development, Employee Development, and Talent Planning & Movement.
  • Obtain regular feedback and perform needs assessments from stakeholders, consider requests for changes and new products.
  • Lead or participate in the execution of projects. 
  • Look for continuous improvement of existing products. Examples: Spark Survey, Qualtrics Super User, Talent Review & Succession Planning, Continuous Performance Management.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and new design needs.
  • Help to foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. 


Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5-7+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
  • 3-4+ years experience in employee development, leadership development, performance management and succession planning.
  • 3-4+ years experience in mid-size project/program management experience
  • 1-2+ years experience with employee surveys and supporting technology
  • Ability to execute while leveraging competency in collaboration, relationship building, influence, and global perspective
